What P0128 usually means on a RAV4
P0128 means the RAV4's coolant isn't reaching operating temperature quickly enough for the ECU. On these engines it's almost always a thermostat stuck partly open, circulating coolant before the engine warms. It usually turns up in cold weather with slow warm-up, weak heat from the vents, and sometimes a small fuel-economy penalty.
