What P0455 usually means on a Silverado 1500
On the Silverado, P0455 is the code for a large leak in the sealed fuel-vapor (EVAP) system — a gap big enough that the truck's computer flags it outright. Beyond that, the canister vent valve, purge valve, and cracked EVAP lines under the truck are the common failures, with the vent valve and lines exposed to road grime and prone to trouble. - Cracked or disconnected EVAP hoses
