What P0171 usually means on a CR-V
P0171 shows the CR-V adding fuel to correct a lean mixture. On naturally aspirated K24s a vacuum or PCV leak and a dirty MAF are the usual causes; on the 1.5T, a loose charge pipe after the turbo adds to the list. It often shows as a rough cold idle with fuel trims climbing well into positive double digits. A smoke test quickly finds most leaks.
