What P0128 usually means on a Wrangler
P0128 tells you the Wrangler's coolant did not reach the temperature the PCM expected within the expected time, so the engine is running too cool. On the Pentastar this is a common code, and the fix is almost always a stuck-open thermostat. Occasionally it follows a coolant service that trapped air, and a failing coolant temperature sensor can imitate it. It costs fuel economy and cabin heat, which matters if you run doors-off in cold weather.
