What P0456 usually means on a Corolla
P0456 is a very small EVAP leak on the Corolla — the system detects a tiny loss of vapor pressure, far smaller than P0455's gross leak. These pinhole leaks are the hardest EVAP faults to find. A gas cap that seals imperfectly is still the top suspect, followed by a slightly leaking vent valve or a hairline crack in an EVAP hose or the canister. There's no drivability effect at all.
