What P0011 usually means on a Corolla
P0011 on a Corolla means the intake camshaft is over-advanced on bank 1 — the VVT-i system has drifted from its commanded position. On Toyota's VVT-i fours this typically comes down to the camshaft timing oil control valve (OCV) sticking, or its filter screen clogging with sludge, both driven by dirty or neglected oil. Symptoms include a rough idle, hesitation, and sometimes a brief rattle at startup.
