What this code means
P0452 means the EVAP (fuel tank) pressure sensor's signal is stuck below its plausible range — the computer is seeing a voltage lower than the sensor should ever produce. Where P0451 is an erratic-reading code, P0452 is usually a hard electrical fault: a shorted sensor, a signal wire shorted to ground, a bad ground/reference wire, or a corroded connector. The sensor exists so the computer can watch tank pressure during leak tests, so with the signal pegged low, EVAP monitoring stops working — but the engine runs exactly as before. Diagnosis is classic three-wire-sensor work: verify the reference voltage, ground, and signal at the connector, then replace the sensor if the wiring checks out.
